As the founding member of the popular 60's singing group, Revelators, Russ recorded his first album with legendary song writer, Rusty Goodman of the Happy Goodman Family.
Renowned for their incredibly harmonious vocal styling, the group found themselves on stages featuring such well-known artists as The Oak Ridge Boys, Dottie Rambo, Hopper Brothers and Connie, Lew Dewitt of the Statler Brothers, and many others.
In the mid 1980's, Russ co-founded the singing group, Dayspring Vocal Band. During that time, the band wrote and recorded "I Got The Feelin'", which aired on Christian Radio.
A Fayetteville, NC native, Russ mentored under his father, Ben Adair, a singer for 55 years, and served as Worship leader at Fayetteville's Northwood Temple Church for 10 years.
No stranger to the stage, Russ embarked on a solo career work after a stint with singing group, His Voice in 2010-2011.
